I've been "approved as a candidate for Wycliffe Bible Translators." Basically, I'm in the limbo period of membership where I'm eligible for scholarships, but not really anything else until I go through training. But this is the letter I've been waiting for and praying for. It means I'm good to go! Thank you for all the prayers thus far! God has not held back His blessings!

I've enjoyed following your blog and indeed your acceptance letter is a major event. I remember receiving such letters from Wycliffe twice, once back in 1976 (for a 3 year short-term stint) and another around 1991. You're at an exciting, scary, full-of-wonder point!
